The Team Althea Racing presents itself for the season 2008 with a new reality that will participate not only in the world Supersport championship but also in the world championships of Superbike and Superstock 1000.
 Thanks to the effective collaboration of Honda Europe and the support of Hannspree, Althea Racing will run the CBR 1000 RR 2008 during the 2008 season, that will be brought to the racetrack by Roberto Rolfo from Torino. The ex world vicechampion of the class 250 GP of 2003, he will be the only rider of the team in the Superbike category and is very enthusiastic about this new challenge that will allow him to compete for the top places in the championship.
 The commitment of Althea Racing will continue in the Supersport, this season as in the last, with the participation however of two new riders: Gianluca Nannelli and Tommy Hill.
Experience and a will to win characterize these two riders that will certainly be protagonists in a difficult and competitive championship. The two will take into the competition the CBR 600 RR in the 2008 version.
 In the World championship FMI Superstock, Althea Racing participates with the rider Andrea Antonelli, who debuts in the Superstock 1000 with the ambition to compete for the record, after a season that saw him fight for the title in the category Superstock 600.
To conduct its activity to the utmost, Althea Racing takes advantage of an avant-garde structure situated in Colleferro, 50 kilometres from Rome, where a building on two floors, contains offices, workshops, test beds, spare parts and an engine development room.
The Team Manager Salvatore Giorlandino and the Technical General Manager Massimo Tulli coordinate the work of the technicians, mechanics and telemetrists: a team of experienced and impassioned professionals.
   
At the head office of Ceramica Althea, located in Civita Castellana in the district of Viterbo, are carried out the operations of public relations and coordination with journalists, sponsors, riders and other operators of the sector.
The communication, the graphics and the design are entrusted to the studio of design Maya Design. |
