The sporting heart of Ceramica Althea is historically related to the Althea Racing Team which has participated over the years both in the MOTO GP World Championship and in the Superbike World Championship in connection with the most prestigious international bike manufacturers, Ducati, BMW and Honda.
In 2011 with the historic Borgo Panigale constructor, Althea conquers the prestigious record of four world titles in just one year:
In 2016 the Althea Team with rider Raffaele De Rosa, on the BMW S 1000 RR, wins the Superstock World title.
At present the team is involved in the Supersport World Championship with riders Leonardo Taccini e Alessandro Zaccone.
